I thought that I was a blog person but it seems that I was wrong about myself, again?

Il update everyone with whats being going on since my last post.
Hate for Fate had there cd launch, which my band Calabrias Fall played at and it went real freakin sweet! Best gig I have ever played, even if it was just two songs. This band is the best one so far, easily.
Then the day after I went to Bass In The Grass, Darwin answer to big day out, that went great, got in this time! Was having fun watching horrorshow and redcoats, then short stack played. There pretty damm catchy and we all feet obligated as the metal mob, to start a circle pit for them, went good. Then sommmmmeone, not me, bottled them and I got the blame and was thrown out, all that was going through my head was not again and that I knew I was going to get back in, somehow. After being kicked out, I bummed around out the front, talked to my school cop to help me back in, she was nice, also saw my mum, got some vodka. Also hanged out with a mate for awhile and went for a cruise. But the time came for me to get back in and for once the easy attempt worked, I just grabbed a mates wrist band, who is over 18, then just walked in and spent the rest of the night getting free drinks by buying little kids drinks.

I cant really remember anything else that has happend up until like this weekend, fuck!

Except that my laptop finally died and had all my files lost and I mean everything! But there was a upside, mum offered to buy a new computer, fucccck yes! So now Im writing this on my 23inch touch screen computer, thats legit as fuck!

Also had terrorfest on Saturday, it went horrible. Shitty sound guy, broken strings, guitars too low and we ran out of time, only playing two songs again..
The rest off the night was spent with some old and new mates sitting at a library yard drinking goon, the usual pretty much. Then we all went to my back yard and crashed.

Just thought Ild update this.

Oh and were gonna record our demo soon, calabria.

Plans turn into plans.

Let me tell you about my day.
I originally had plans to go see a lady friend ( ;] ) and then head off to practise at about 3, sounds like a perfect day minus the booze. Well things didnt go down as I thought they would. I remember waking up at around quater past eight in the morning in a plate that I was using the night before to store my food on as I ate (because thats what plates are for :s). I should of being panicing at the this time as I was planned to meet my lady friend at about nine, but I thought ahh fuck it. So I just ‘rested my eyes until I woke up’ and I was going to send her a text telling her that I was going to be late or either not show up, either one, when I was fully ‘awake’. But the surprising thing was I never actually woke up from resting my eyes, until about four hours later. Woops. I checked my phone and it was around 12 and I had a number of missed calls and txts, from her. She must of thought I was standing her up, only if she knew the truth, that I was actually to fucked and wanted to just sleep (to think about it now, thats sad, I was to tired to go see a woman, but then again I was reeeeal tired, but still!). I still dont know what to tell her, that I turned up and she wasnt there? That I had to go to the hospital for some crazy life and death situation? Who cares what I tell her, she will belive it, sadly (fuck Im an asshole..). The other thing that is mean is that this isnt the first time Iv stood her up, maybe my brain is secretly telling me Im not so into her. But she keeps forgetting and forgiving my asshole ways, pretty good booty call I must say (fuck I hope she doesnt read my blog).
So I was finally awake and pumped for the fact that band practise was on today. I did what I usually do when I wake up, eat some of last nights dinner left overs and watch abc3! Time flew by, next thing I knew I was naked! In my shower.. I eventually caught my usual band practise bus, good ride, listened to ‘North Of The Woods’ on my ipod a fair bit, Im getting quite into them! Was also a fast ride, it seemed I was there faster then the average person takes to have a shit.. But I doubt it was faster. When I arrived I only saw Ben there, which usually means practise isnt on or someones gonna be late. Ben a real funny dude, so its always fun with him. He told me we had some more cheese and chicken! I was more pumped then ever! We headed down to the local shops to kill some time (assuming they were coming eventually) and get some coke, of course. I saw Gene there, we had an awkard polite talk and I found out Giant Vs. The Sun split up, shame. When we got to Bens, none of the other members were there yet. So we watched the live footage of us, during it Daniel and the rich ranga Novak arrived. Still waiting for Bradley we watched a majority of the live footage on the parkway dvd, then some of the doco. Then got kicked out, into the studio, because Bens mum was finished painting nails (yay the smell of nail paint..) and wanted us to go do our shit now. Bradley eventually arrived, eventually. It was due to him cheering he depressed mother up, so thats fair, even if we only had an hour to go. We practised the songs, had a little bit of a jam, deciding on leaving song writing tomorrow when we have more time on our hands.
Very short practise I must say, but still fun. I found out I still have basketball skillz when we shot some hoops waiting to get picked up, I miss playing basketball!
On the bus home we meetsome ‘nongas’ as they called themselves, they were aboriginal siblings. But they were cool, repectable and funny. We all had a good chat to them about Queensland, Perth etc. That was about my whole day after that, besides coming home and chilling out. Up until now, where Im sitting at my desk with a bottle of iced coffee bloging.

Uprising.

As soon as the thought of what I should name my current and first ever post on my wordpress blog. The song ‘Uprising’ from the band ‘Muse’ came onto itunes from shuffle and I thought that would be a pretty cool title and since its a cool song (actually its kinda boring except for the ‘so come on’ and solo near the end. Sad thing is that I can say that there more recent stuff is more boring then there past records. But I do love Muse, its just some songs dont appeal to me in certain moods). Since Iv cleared up the title ordeal, I better start getting bloging I guess.

Nothing much new in my life lately, well no, not really at all. I dont have to lie and have small talk here since its my blog, I own this shit. Where to start in whats new with my life.. Lets start with the whole bad news, good news thing. I have got kicked out of school untill next term which is real fucking bad but still good since I dont have to go to school (lazy, yes I know, but I hate that place). But what Im thinking is what if they dont actually let me back in, I mean they have already givin me like a 25357821 second chances, that I have just abused. Plus its not like I can afford to be kicked out, in year 11. Im fucked if they do and I dont just mean right now, since society apparently needs you to have an education, preferably one as a year twelve graduate. And what will I do if they kick me out? Go to uni to study graphic design, obviously. But could I make a living from being a graphic designer? Am I good enough to make a full time job out of it? Could I even get into uni? These are some of the questions that eat me up when I start to think about my life, luckily I never have enough time for that. Im usually probably just designing, on facebook, myspace or watching tv. I guess all I can do at the moment is get on karma’s good side, build up shiffted design to the highest point I can and wish like hell! Everythings always works out for me somehow but, thats what can put a fake ensuring smile on my face. Not as if anyone is going to see it anyways..

I think its about time for some good news in my recent life right about now but. Its probably the best news I could possibly have. That is my new band starting up and heading in a good direction. First off Il tell you a bit about us. Were Calabria’s Fall (we were going to be called flying dutchman until we realized how stupid and gay that is). The band features me on vocals, Bradley (yes the Bradley that I said I would never play with again let alone ever step on stage again with), Daniel on bass and Ben Masters on drums. As you can see the band features members from my old but first ever band DeathWish (S.T.D aswell, and even slaughtertorall, that is if you know me), originally the band was just going to be a reformation of Surrender The Dead (since we had split up sometime in 2009 due to a number of fights between me and Brad and members picking sides, but we have put all that shit behind us recently since becoming friends again and getting urges to get back on stage, its mostly all thanks to our metal guru and good freind Lewis). So yes when we first started jamming together again we had our previous drummer Rueben from S.T.D, we had jammed say about two times (in a two week period..) until we got signs that Rueben wasnt so interested in our passion and also that he had a brocken ankle, which would be a cockblock to us jamming. But soon prior to that I had heard that he had contacted another local band being interested in playing drums for them, since they had being out of action for quite awhile. So me and Bradley got talking and decided that we were sick of Ruebens prog-metal/funk drumming style and ability to distract (ohhh and we were also offended that he would go and join a band that had previously accused us of stealing there riffs (like we ever would) and also not tell us). So yet again for us three the search for a new drummer had begun, but for some reason like every other search, it was very short lived. It took me awhile to think about it but I was soon stuck on making sure we had a jam with a kid called Ben Masters. That I had previously met when we were searching for a drummer for short lived band slaughtertorall, he went to school with Daniel, thats how we knew him. So eventually me and Bradley got around to his house (which I must add is a tricked out studio, one of the best in Darwin, with a number of instruments, all owned by his parents). We got jammin and loved what we heard, so Ben was the newest drummer added to the list. In the coming weeks Daniel joined in to and we got writing some songs, that are actually thought out this time. Our first gig (with only two songs) was on Saturday with a interstate band called Five Star Prison Cell, they were fucking amazing! I mean amazing! And we obviously couldnt and wouldnt turn down a gig with a interstate band (I mean a band that knows where Darwin is, is a band that you must play with!). Friday is the next gig (hopefully with three songs) for our good mates Hate For Fate’s CD launch, were also playing with Zed Major and Cains Plague, which also have mates of ours in. Im so happy to be soaking wet in my own sweat and screaming with everything Iv got with my friends again!

As for other new news is… nothing really, I started up my blog, got my notifications working on facebook again, got hurt by some slut that doesnt even know it (but fuck her) and had friends starting to change. Thats about it.

I plan on writing more blogs daily, hopefully.

And also uploading a new myspace for my design company, eventually.
